Last check in of the year

I hope you all had good holidays (are having depending on how the back half the year looks for you ;))

How has your writing year been?

I didn't make my word count - but I wrote more than I did last year, and I posted most of what I wrote instead of just adding to my pile of WiPs like normal! I can't say I learned a lot this year, writing wise, but I'm more focused than I was ;)

How does the year ahead look for you?

I had nice holidays but I am glad they are over: December is always such a busy month. I am looking forward to write my last OneShot for this year. The idea just popped into my head this morning.

I have reached +150K words and I can't believe it that so far I have written +30K words this months (really weird).

I have finihed a fluffy little OneShot in christmas and even uploaded it to A03. The last story I have uploaded there was in March xD Looking forward to upload the story I am currently writing too. Maybe it will get a bit more attention than the previous one, but I didn't wanted it to become known since it was a cute little gift for someone and I know you have to really like crossover ships to appreciate them.

Personally I want to continue working on two of my stories I am currently pausing due to a lot of roleplay and a different fandom. I guess a little break from them is not wrong to get a new view on them. I know that one of these stories will be finished in 2018. But I am not trying to rush things

That's good, and well done (december the most i ever get done is stuff for fandom stocking tbh)

I was really surprised that I actually found so much time to write. Sometimes I just typed and typed and suddenly I had three posts finished or in words between 600 and 1K.

I hope that 2018 will be a good writing year too :)
Well since I have already 2018 I will now write my first words for the new year
